Fast food should be allowed and provided in schools. Fast food does appeal to students, yet parents don't agree with having fast foods provided in pubic schools because of more risks than conveniences. Instead of providing schools with greasy unhealthy food, healthier fast food options could be offered giving the students a wider variety of lunch choices. Sushi and other forms of healthy food can give students a good attitude toward school. Low calorie meals are offered at tons of fast food places. since most fast food is unhealthy there are concerns with feeding students high fat, sodium, and high calorie intake but these conflicts can be solved. We can choice healthier meals and only offer some meals on certain days instead of daily. Vegetarians could have problems with the fast food provided because not all fast food consist of vegetarian meals. Even when a menu does offer vegetarian food it comes up as less than three hundred calories.
I like the idea of fast food in my high school. As you said, that would give me a better attitude towards school! The only concern with it though is are the students going to make healthy choices and if not, then we should be limited to only certain meals that day... Another idea could be, we could have a poll to see what place the kids would rather have here at school so that way everyone wins. Kids get the place they choose and staff helps keep the students at that school healthy. Nice blog TC. :)
