Really a crime?

Is feeding the homeless a bad thing to do? When Arnold Abbott "chief Arnold" and two south Florida ministers handed out food to the homeless they were charged for breaking the ordinance and each had to pay 500 dollars and also had to serve sixty days in jail. Ordinance? I know what you all are thinking... What ordinance? An ordinance stated that Fort Lauderdale Florida's people were not allowed to give food to the hungry. He then went and set up a dinner on the beach for the homeless people to come enjoy a meal. About a hundred people showed up to his dinner and he was the  hero for every single one of them. Honestly why shouldn't they be able to feed the hungry? Is our government is so corrupt that they rather watch people die of starvation and be given food by other people? If sharing food can save lives then why stop it? Think about it.

  1. I think it’s really sad that you can’t even help someone out that’s in need. I don’t see why you wouldn't be able to feed a homeless person because that’s just a donation. And why are they getting jail time for helping the needy, you don’t see people at soup kitchens being arrested for donating food, time and their own money. Is there a reason for this law, like something bad happened in the past?
